This is a guide on how to hit Prestige 100 fast in Dead by Daylight. We will show you a couple of tips and strategies we use to easily fly through the Prestiges.

Is Prestige 100 Worth It?

In all seriousness, the grind to Prestige 100 is not for everyone. It’s a massive time sink, taking roughly 300 hours to get a single character to P100. So, is it worth it? For the most part, the answer is no—unless you’re in it for the bragging rights.

You don’t get a cosmetic, you don’t get a charm, and you don’t get anything special. Except for a number above your character when you’re in the pre-game lobby.  And one practical benefit to hitting P100: the Bloodweb locks when you reach level 50, which means you’ll get more rare add-ons on each Bloodweb cycle reset. This can help optimize your loadouts with rare offerings, add-ons, and perks.

P100 does not mean you’re better at the game than somebody else. It doesn’t mean that you’re about to carry the team. If you see a P100 in your lobby, it just means that person has a lot of time to play Dead by Daylight

How to Get Bloodpoints

The most important thing about getting P100 is knowing how to farm Bloodpoints. Dead by Daylight always offers daily login rewards for Bloodpoints and frequently releases codes to redeem. The best place to find out if there is a new code or daily reward is this specific Twitter account. They always let you know if there’s a code or when events like Blood Hunts begin. Sometimes they even tweet out things like free Prime skins or the Dwight PUBG skin.

Free Bloodpoints and Daily Rituals

One of the first things you want to take advantage of is free Bloodpoints and bonus Bloodpoints. As soon as you log into the game, there’s usually an incentive to play either as a Killer or a Survivor. If you are a Survivor main, you gain more Bloodpoints from playing Survivor, especially when the incentive is on Survivors.

Other free Bloodpoints come from daily rituals. These refresh every day, and you can re-roll one if you don’t like it. If you get a lot of killer rituals, just re-roll them until you get a Survivor one. Doing Rift challenges will also help you stack up Bloodpoints while giving you a little goal to work toward in your matches.

If you just started playing Dead by Daylight not too long ago, there’s a lot to do. This is even better if you play both sides because you can get a lot of extra Bloodpoints from completing both Killer and Survivor challenges.

Solo Queue vs SWF: Maximizing Bloodpoints

If you’re playing solo queue, of course, the grind is going to take longer. Make sure to always bring some type of Bloodpoint bonus for yourself—some offering that will help you get more Bloodpoints than you would in an average solo queue game.

If you’re playing solo, always bring Bloodpoint-boosting offerings like Bloody Party Streamers. Solo queue can be unpredictable due to the randomness of your teammates and the killers you face, but maximizing Bloodpoints in each match is always important.

When playing with friends (SWF), you can dramatically speed up your progress. The trick is to stack Bloodpoint offerings like Anniversary Cakes, Flans, or Bloody Party Streamers. If all four survivors—and even the killer—bring one, you can earn upwards of 150,000 Bloodpoints in a single match. Combine that with the strategies from Spooky Loops’ video, and you could earn 200,000 to 250,000 Bloodpoints per game. With one million Bloodpoints needed to prestige, that means you can go up one prestige level in just four matches.

Spend Bloodpoints As You Go

Now, let’s say you’ve followed every part of this guide so far on how to get Bloodpoints. One tip we have for you is to spend your Bloodpoints as you earn them. Don’t be one of those people who wait until they have 2 million Bloodpoints and then spend 15 minutes clicking through the Bloodwebs. It’s very annoying. Keep around 100k to 200k and never let it get past that. Spend Bloodpoints while you’re in the lobby waiting for friends or in the pre-game lobby waiting for the match to start.

How to Spend Your Bloodpoints

This is another important part—how you spend your Bloodpoints. We call this Bloodpoint Pathing. It starts to matter once you’re past level 30 on your Bloodweb. Essentially, you want to control the Entity when it’s removing things from your Bloodweb. Choose the side with the cheapest options, like the yellows, greens, and browns, and make the Entity take the more expensive stuff. This strategy will still help you save Bloodpoints in the long run. A lot of people sleep on how effective this strategy is.

Conclusion: Hitting P100

After that, it’s just rinse and repeat. Remember, hitting prestige rank 100 is all about time, not skill. If you play for eight hours every day, you’re going to hit P100 a lot faster than someone who only plays a couple of hours after work. Time is the most important factor in this entire guide.
