Best Nemesis Builds Guide

Introducing the iconic Nemesis, a relentless killer in Dead by Daylight. Provided with his infectious Tentacle and assisted by AI-controlled Zombies, he continuously hunts Survivors. Nemesis is a strong killer capable of mid-range attacks, as he may break through obstacles and apply pressure across the map. He appears in the Resident Evil Chapter 20 DLC, adding a new level of terror to the game. To make the most out of him, let’s go over the best Nemesis builds in 2024.

Best Nemesis Build 2024

If you’re looking for the best Nemesis Build in Dead by Daylight, there are a few perks you should consider. First, perks that allow survivors to run to you early on can be very effective. Second, slow-down perks that give you time throughout the whole game can help you to stay in control. Finally, having the ability to know when a generator is about to be completed makes running this build extremely consistent and solid.

  • Corrupt Intervention (The Plague) – At the beginning of the trial, The Entity blocks the 3 generators that are the furthest away from you for 120 seconds. For the time being, survivors are unable to repair these generators. A white aura surrounds affected generators.
  • Deadlock (The Cenobite) – After repairing a generator, The Entity disables the generator with the most progress for 30 seconds. You can see its white aura at this time.
  • Tinkerer (The Hillbilly) – When a generator is repaired to 70% progress, you will receive a loud noise notification and the Undetectable status effect for the next 16 seconds. This effect can only be activated once on each generator. The Killer’s aura, Terror Radius, and Red Stain remain undetectable.
  • No Way Out (The Trickster) – No Way Out receives a token after successfully hooking a Survivor for the first time. No Way Out is activated after the exit gates are powered on. When a Survivor interacts with the exit gate switch, you will receive a loud noise notification. The Entity then disables both exit gate switches for 12 seconds, with an extra 12 seconds for each token in your control.

Hex & Gen Control Nemesis Build

Hex & Gen Control Nemesis Build

If you want a bit of a different approach to Nemesis, here’s a solid build for you. This build relies a lot more on your zombies, so it is recommended that you bring add-ons that boost your zombie’s detection ranges and make them faster. Discordance will attract zombies, which will constantly harass and chase people off generators. That’s when Hex: Ruin will come in and be extremely annoying for survivors to deal with.

  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist) – At the start of the Trial, up to 4 random hooks are transformed into scourge hooks. You see their Auras in white. You start the Trial with 4 Tokens. The first time each Survivor is hooked by a scourge hook, you lose 1 Token, and the generator with the highest progress explodes, losing 25% of its progress and starts regressing.
  • Hex: Ruin (The Hag) – Hex: Ruin affects all generators. When a Survivor is not repairing a generator, it will immediately and automatically regress repair progress at 100% of the regular regression rate. When a Survivor gets killed by any means, the Hex: Ruin Totem transforms into a Dull Totem. The Hex effects last as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.
  • Hex: Pentimento (The Artist) – You can see the aura of destroyed Totems. You can use a ritual to bring back a destroyed Totem as a Hex Totem for Hex: Pentimento. Hex: Pentimento gains an additional effect when many Hex Totems are active at the same time. 1 Hex Totem: Reduces survivors’ repairing speed by 30%. 2 Hex Totems: Reduces survivors’ healing speed by 30%. 3 Hex Totems: Reduces Survivors’ recovery time after being down by 30%. 4 Hex Totems: Reduces survivors’ exit gate opening speed by 30%. 5 Hex Totems: The Entity blocks all Totems.
  • Discordance (The Legion) – Any generator within a 128-meter radius that 2 or more Survivors are repairing has a yellow aura. When the generator is first highlighted, Discordance sends a loud noise notification. When the generator is no longer within range or is no longer being repaired by 2 or more Survivors, the aura continues for another 4 seconds.

Pain Res Nemesis Build

Pain Res Nemesis Build

This Nemesis build approach relies entirely on Pain Resonance and support it with three other powerful perks. Zombies naturally go around places and bother survivors off generators, which will then activate Dead Man’s Switch as well. Survivors also won’t know when to go off the generator since you brought Mindbreaker.

  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist) – At the start of the Trial, up to 4 random hooks are converted to Scourge Hooks. You can see their auras in white. You start the Trial with 4 tokens. The first time each Survivor is hooked by a Scourge Hook, you lose 1 token and the generator with the most progress explodes, losing 25 % of its progress and starts regressing.
  • Agitation (The Trapper) – Increases movement speed while transporting bodies by 18%. While transporting a body, your Terror Radius increases by 12 meters.
  • Mindbreaker (The Demogorgon) – While Survivors are repairing generators, they are afflicted by the status effects of Blindness and Exhausted. Any existing Exhausted status effect timers are paused while the Survivor repairs a generator. When a Survivor completes the repair action, they become afflicted with the Blindness and Exhausted status effects for 5 seconds.
  • Dead Man’s Switch (The Deathslinger) – When you hook a Survivor, Dead Man’s Switch activates for 30 seconds. While active, any Survivor who stops repairing a generator before it is completely repaired causes The Entity to disable the generator until Dead Man’s Switch’s effect runs out. A white aura shows up around affected generators.

Best Nemesis Add-ons

  • Serotonin Injector – After disintegrating a Zombie in any way, the Undetectable Status Effect is granted for 15 seconds.
  • Marvin’s Blood – The Gain to Mutation Rate after hitting Survivors with a Tentacle Strike Attack is increased by +0.75 points.
  • Broken Recovery Coin – The number of Supply Cases in the environment is reduced by -1.
  • Jill’s Sandwich – After Survivors successfully unlock a Supply Case, their auras are revealed to you for 12 seconds.
  • Iridescent Umbrella Badge – Survivors experience the Exposed Status Effect for 60 seconds after taking a vaccine.
