dbd how to get bloodpoints fast

You’ll probably want blood points in Dead by Daylight. Blood points are crucial whether you’re just trying to level up your characters or aiming for a complete P100. In this post, I’ll show you the best ways to farm bloodpoints fast and provide solid builds to maximize blood points on both Killer and Survivor.

Bonus Blood Points

The first thing you can do to get more blood points is to hit play during bonus bloodpoints periods for either Killer or Survivor. You can check this by going to play and looking next to either Killer or Survivor; it’ll say +100% blood points. This bonus rotates periodically, so keep an eye on it to significantly increase the bloodpoints earned during these times.

Events

Next, make sure to play during events because they often provide a significant boost to earn bloodpoints quickly.

Seasonal Events are the primary events in Dead by Daylight. They typically occur once a year and last for two to three weeks. Mini-Events are minor events in Dead by Daylight. They occur several times per year and typically last one week.

For example, during the Blood Moon event, we got +400 % blood points after meeting the 35 million blood point milestone, which is essentially five times the usual amount. Events with rewards like these are perfect for grinding blood points.

Rank Season Rewards

Increasing your game rank can also boost your blood points. During the rank reset on the 13th of each month, you’ll receive a reward based on your rank.

The amount of Bloodpoints received by players depends on the grades they earned for either side (Killer Grade or Survivor Grade) before the reset. This allows you to earn up to 2,000,000 Bloodpoints for obtaining Iridescent I with both Killer and Survivor.

Archive Challenges

Completing archive challenges is another easy way to earn more bloodpoints. These tasks are often simple, such as avoiding collisions for a certain time. It’s a quick and straightforward method to boost your bloodpoints.

New Tome challenges and Trials get players Rift Fragments, a currency that enables automatic progression through open Rifts.

The Rift offers plenty of rewards across its Tiers, including Cosmetic Pieces, Charms, Banners, Badges, Bloodpoints, and Auric Cells (Premium).

Daily Rituals

Lastly, we have daily rituals. Daily Rituals can be completed by both Survivors and Killers, earning Bloodpoints.

While they can be a bit tedious, they offer a decent amount of bloodpoints. You receive one ritual per day, and you can swap them out once daily if needed. These rituals are an easy way to accumulate and gain additional blood points without much effort.

Killer Build for Fast Bloodpoints

Now let’s discuss the killer build. For perks, you’ll want to use:

  1. Beast of Prey (The Huntress): This perk gives you 50% more blood points in the Hunter category. While it also grants you undetectable status at Tier 1 Bloodlust, the primary benefit here is the extra blood points.
  2. Distressing (General Perk): A universal perk that provides +100% more blood points in the Deviousness category. It also increases your killer’s terror radius by 26%, though the main advantage is the blood points boost.
  3. Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (General Perk): For each dull and hex totem on the map, you’ll get a token, and each token gives you 10% more blood points in the Hunter category. This perk also slows down survivors’ cleansing and blessing speeds, though its main value is in the blood points.
  4. Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist): This perk provides some generator regression and is a convenient choice if you don’t like running around kicking generators. It is especially useful when you hook survivors to gain generator regression.

Other options for Pain Resonance include Bamboozle, Brutal Strength, Corrupt Intervention, Deadlock, Pop Goes the Weasel, Surge, or No Way Out.

Survivor Build for Bloodpoints

For the survivor build perks, you’ll want to use:

  • Any Means Necessary (Yui Kimura): This perk allows you to reset dropped pallets, and grants you 500 blood points every time you do so. You can keep resetting pallets until you reach the maximum amount of blood points.
  • Boon: Circle of Healing (Mikaela Reid): The primary reason for having a Boon is to bless totems, which grants you around 1,500 blood points for each totem you bless. You can keep moving between two totems to bless them repeatedly and maximize your blood points.
  • No One Left Behind (General Perk): This perk provides a bonus to unhooking and healing survivors during the endgame. It helps you accumulate additional bloodpoints when the gates are powered, also earning you altruism points.
  • Deliverance (Adam Francis): This perk gives you a substantial amount of blood points (almost 3,000) for performing a safe unhook and then avoiding being downed for 15 seconds.

To maximize your bloodpoints with this build, focus on continuously resetting pallets with Any Means Necessary, moving between totems to bless them with your Boon perk, boosting blood points during the endgame by unhooking and healing survivors with No One Left Behind, and performing safe unhooks with Deliverance while avoiding getting downed for 15 seconds.

Bloodpoint Add-ons

There are a lot of killers that have Add-ons that are effective for farming bloodpoints.

For example: Jewel Beetle, from the Wesker. “The Beast” – Soot, from the Wraith. Bent Nail, from The Cenobite. Kid’s Drawing, from Freddy, and many more. For the secondary add-on, you can choose based on your preference.

Fast Bloodpoints Offerings

Finally, use a blood point offering such as Fragrant Sweet William (for survivors) or Ardent Spotted Owl Wreath (for killers) to boost your blood point earnings.

If you’re playing in a Survive With Friends (SWF) group, Bloody Party Streamers give a 100% blood point boost to everyone in the match. If multiple players use them and the bonuses stack, you could get an extra 100% for each player.
