adc difficulty tier list

This ADC Difficulty tier list categorizes ADCs into four different tiers based on difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. The Easy tier will consist of champions that can make an impact with 0 to 10 games of practice.

Medium-tier champions will require 10 to 25 games to master. The Hard-tier champions will need 25 to 50 games of practice for consistent results. Finally, the Expert tier champions will require 50 games or more to become proficient.

Easy Tier

easy tier
  • Ashe
  • Miss Fortune

In the Easy tier for ADC, we have Ashe and Miss Fortune. Compared to all other ADCs, Ashe and MF are the most straightforward and easy to pick up. Both champions can have a big impact without needing incredible kiting skills, which is a major reason why they are placed in this tier.

You don’t even need to land a single auto-attack with either one of them, as both MF and Ashe have ultimates that can heavily influence games. For newer ADC players, positioning and kiting take the most time to learn, as it is a role with more vulnerable characters. However, Ashe and MF make it a little easier for you as they rely less on auto-attacks.

Medium Tier

mid tier
  • Kog’Maw
  • Swain
  • Varus
  • Ziggs
  • Tristana
  • Xayah
  • Jinx
  • Sivir
  • Caitlyn
  • Twitch

The Medium tier for ADC includes champions that rely more on basic attacks but are not necessarily more mechanically demanding than Ashe and Miss Fortune. Many of these champions have escape tools or range enhancers in their kits, making them more forgiving than those in the hard and expert tiers.

If you struggle with playing ADC, consider picking champions like Xayah or Tristana. They are beneficial because they can protect themselves and don’t require perfect positioning to be successful. You don’t have to be the most mechanically gifted player to win on these champions, which makes them good fits for the Medium tier.

Hard Tier

hard tier
  • Jhin
  • Draven
  • Lucian
  • Vayne
  • Nilah
  • Samira
  • Aphelios
  • Kai’Sa
  • Zeri

In the Hard tier for ADC, min-maxing becomes much more important and choosing your openings is vital. Champions like Draven, Lucian, Vayne, Kai’Sa, Nilah, and Samira are all shorter-ranged ADCs, meaning you have to balance staying safe while still dealing damage.

Aphelios and Zeri have more advanced kits compared to the average ADC, so it will take more time to learn them. Jhin, being one of the more skill-shot heavy ADCs, is not someone you can expect to dominate with immediately. Getting used to his ammo mechanic is also a process, as no other ADC in the game has that feature.

Expert Tier

expert tier
  • Kalista
  • Ezreal

Both Kalista and Ezreal are considered top-tier ADC champions in the Expert tier. It’s not recommended to play them if you’re not experienced with them. Ezreal requires a lot of practice due to his reliance on skill shots, taking at least 50 games to play decently, but realistically, it could take hundreds of games to master him.

Similarly, Kalista is heavily reliant on her support and is most effective in the early game. Her unique passive kiting mechanic also takes a lot of practice to perfect.

Summary

All ADC champions are categorized into four difficulty tiers: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Easy-tier champions like Ashe and Miss Fortune are straightforward and impactful with minimal practice. Medium-tier champions like Kog’Maw and Tristana rely more on basic attacks but have tools for self-peel. Hard-tier champions like Jhin and Vayne require precise min-maxing and strategic gameplay.

Expert tier champions like Kalista and Ezreal are top-tier ADCs that demand extensive practice and experience to excel, with Ezreal needing at least 50 games to become proficient. These tiers help players understand the complexity and skill level required for each ADC champion in the game.
