Interested in mastering The Legion? Whether you’re intrigued by their aesthetics and power or looking for a beginner-friendly killer, this guide will provide you with the best Legion builds and add-ons. The Legion, consisting of four teenagers, has a base speed of 115% and an average terror radius. Their abilities are simple: when they enter a frenzied state, they accelerate to 5.2m/s, allowing them to vault obstacles and inflict deep wounds with frenzied attacks. Hits in a frenzy activate Killer Instinct for nearby survivors, and a fifth hit immediately downing a survivor. Despite their simplicity and power, the Legion build is effective at pressuring newer survivors but usually struggles against experienced players, often resorting to a basic M1 killer.
Best Legion Build 2024

The simplest yet, extremely beginner-friendly build that is the easiest and most effective build to learn and use on The Legion.
- Surge (The Demogorgon): Using a basic attack to put a Survivor in the dying state causes multiple generators within a 32-meter radius to explode and begin regressing. Generators affected by the Surge immediately lose 8% of their progress.
- Hex: Ruin (The Hag): All generators are impacted by Hex: Ruin. While a Survivor is not repairing a generator, the repair progress will be regressed at 100% of the normal rate. The Hex effects last as long as the connected Hex Totem is standing.
- Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist): At the beginning of the trial, up to 4 random hooks are converted into scourge hooks. You can see their auras in white. You start the trial with 4 tokens. The first time each Survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, you lose one token, and the generator with the most progress explodes, losing 25% of their progress and starting to regress.
- Surveillance (The Pig): Any regressing generator will be highlighted with a white aura. If the regression on a generator is interrupted, it will be highlighted in yellow for 16 seconds.
The great thing about running this build is that it revolves around generator damage and regression. While also giving you information when survivors go running back to the generator. It is insanely good at consistently pressuring survivors on their objectives.
Legion Chase Build

Another build that is extremely easy to run and use but is more oriented towards chasing survivors. These perks combined make it so any potential beginner player can use and run the build effectively.
- Lethal Pursuer (The Nemesis): At the start of the trial, you are shown the auras of all Survivors for 9 seconds. Every time a Survivor’s aura is displayed for a while, its duration is increased by 2 seconds.
- Enduring (The Hillbilly): You cut the duration of pallet stuns by 50%. Has no effect when carrying a Survivor.
- Deadlock (The Cenobite): After repairing a generator, The Entity disables the generator with the most progress for 30 seconds. You can see its white aura at this time.
- No Way Out (The Trickster): No Way Out receives a token after successfully hooking the first Survivor. When the exit gates are turned on, No Way Out is activated. When a Survivor interacts with an exit gate switch, you will receive a loud noise alert. The Entity then disables both exit gate switches for 12 seconds, plus another 12 seconds for each token you have.
The early Aura reading can help you go for the grouped people. Taking the most strategic route, so survivors have the hardest time escaping multiple hits. Pairing Enduring with the Iridescent Button add-on makes it so you counter survivors that pre-drop pallets or stun you with it. Also bringing the Julie’s Mix Tape add-on into play will make it so that if you get stunned, you get your Feral Frenzy back instantly.
All-Purpose Legion Build

An alternative well-rounded Legion Build that you can bring that works thoroughly well.
- Discordance (The Legion): Any generator within a range of 128 meters that is being repaired by two or more Survivors displays a yellow aura. When the generator is first highlighted, Discordance creates a loud noise notification.
- Eruption (The Nemesis): After damaging a generator, its aura turns yellow. When a Survivor enters the dying state, every affected generator explodes, removing 10% of progress and beginning to regress. If a generator explodes while a Survivor is repairing it, they will scream and reveal their aura for 12 seconds.
- Pop Goes the Weasel (The Clown): After hooking a Survivor, the next generator you damage loses 30% of its current progress. Normal generator regression takes place following the Damage Generator action.
- Play with Your Food (The Shape): Every time you chase your Obsession and let them escape, you will receive a token, up to a max of 3. Each token increases your movement speed by 3/4/5%.
You will find multiple survivors with Discordance which is always good with Legion. You will also eventually find the obsession, which means it will give you even more speed for leaving them. On top of that, you will be causing lots of generator damage with Pop Goes the Weasel and Eruption.
