Hillbilly dbd build

Imagine hearing the roar of a revving motor and a bloodcurdling scream of rage. The Hillbilly isn’t subtle, but he’s incredibly efficient. He can zoom across the map at lightning speed, and anyone caught in his path faces a terrifying encounter with his buzzing chainsaw. In Dead by Daylight, the Hillbilly is a formidable Killer known for his speed and deadly attacks. To maximize his potential, let’s go over the best Hillbilly builds for 2024.

Best Hillbilly Build 2024

Best Hillbilly Build 2024

This setup makes Hillbilly stronger by helping him move faster and control the map better. With perks that speed up vaulting through windows, you can plan out your moves. These perks also let you block windows. You can trap Survivors and navigate tricky areas more smoothly. You can boost your chances of putting pressure on Survivors. With perks that slow them down and give you intel on their whereabouts, this can help increase your chances of getting kills.

Recommended add-ons: LoPro Chains & Dad’s Boots.

  • Bamboozle (The Clown) – Your vault speed is 15% faster. Performing a vault action causes The Entity to block that vault location for 16 seconds. Only one vault location may be blocked in this way at any time. Survivors have restricted entry to the vault location.
  • Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist) – At the beginning of the trial, up to 4 random hooks are converted into scourge hooks. You can see their auras in white. You start the trial with 4 tokens. The first time each Survivor is hooked on a scourge hook, they lose one token, and the generator with the most progress explodes, losing 25% of their progress and starting to regress. When you run out of tokens, Pain Resonance deactivates for the remaining time of the Trial.
  • Pop Goes the Weasel (The Clown) – After hooking a Survivor, the next generator you damage immediately loses 30% of its current progress. Normal generator regression occurs following the Damage Generator action. Pop Goes the Weasel remains active for 45 seconds after the Survivor is hooked.
  • Barbecue & Chilli (The Cannibal) – After hooking a Survivor, all other Survivors’ auras are revealed to you for 5 seconds when they are more than 40 meters away from the hook.

Aura Reading Hillbilly Build

Aura Reading Hillbilly Build

This build makes Hillbilly even better at finding and stopping Survivors right from the start of the game. You get to see where Survivors are right away, helping you jump into action faster. Plus, carrying someone makes it easier to catch Survivors off guard. It also helps you see others while they’re trying to fix generators, making it messier for them.

Recommended add-ons: Iridescent Engravings & Dad’s Boots.

  • Lethal Pursuer (The Nemesis) – At the start of the trial, you are shown the auras of all Survivors for 9 seconds. Every time a Survivor’s aura is displayed for a while, its duration is increased by 2 seconds.
  • Mindbreaker (The Demogorgon) – While repairing generators, Survivors are affected by the Blindness and Exhausted status effects. Any existing Exhausted status effect timers are paused while the Survivor repairs a generator. After completing the repair action, the Survivor is affected by the Blindness and Exhausted status effects for 5 seconds.
  • Awakened Awareness (The Mastermind) – When carrying a Survivor, you can see other Survivors’ auras within 20 meters of your location.

Silent Chainsaw Hillbilly Build

Silent Chainsaw Hillbilly Build

This build revolves around using the Apex Muffler add-on, which makes your chainsaw completely silent outside of your usual detection range. By choosing perks that reduce your terror radius, such as Tinkerer or Trail of Torment, you can create an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty for Survivors. Sneaking up on Survivors becomes more intimidating, potentially allowing you to down them quickly because they may not react in time.

Recommended add-ons: Spiked Boots & Apex Muffler.

  • Tinkerer (The Hillbilly) – When a generator is repaired to 70% progress, you will receive a loud noise notification and the Undetectable status effect for the next 16 seconds. This effect can only be activated once on each generator.
  • Nowhere to Hide (The Knight) – Whenever you damage a generator, the auras of all Survivors within 24 meters of you are revealed for 5 seconds.
  • No Way Out (The Trickster) – No Way Out receives a token after successfully hooking a Survivor for the first time. No Way Out is activated once the exit gates are powered on. When a Survivor interacts with an exit gate switch, you will receive a loud noise notification. The Entity then disables both exit gate switches for 12 seconds, with an additional 12 seconds for each token that you have.
