In Dead by Daylight, stealth is everything in trying to avoid the killer. With such perks as Iron Will, the noise is reduced, but some survivors are just naturally quieter than others thus making it harder to track them. Below is a ranking of the seven quietest survivors in Dead by Daylight, based on breathing, injuries, and other audio cues.
7. Ace Visconti

- Breathing: Quiet, slightly lower-pitched.
- Panting: Sharper and louder but still breathy.
- Injury sounds: Quiet grunts, mostly breathy.
Ace’s breathing is more on the quiet side and has a slightly lower pitch compared to other survivors. His panting over Spirit’s phase audio is hard to tell, his panting is sharper and louder yet still more breathy than vocalized. His grunts of pain are on the quiet end of the spectrum, which makes it tough to track him over distance. Ace goes well with Iron Will, but even without it, the quiet grunts make him an awesome choice for stealth.
6. Rose Marigold

- Breathing: Extremely quiet, spaced out.
- Panting: Quiet in some sections.
- Footsteps: Noticeable, especially heels.
Rose’s breathing is very quiet and spaced out, making her extremely hard to track. Some sections of her panting are silent, too. However, her footsteps audio-especially when wearing heels-gives her away, which can be exploited by experienced killers. Nonetheless, if used strategically-such as crouching still while a killer like Spirit phases past-Rose can easily evade detection thanks to her silent breathing.
5. Gabriel Soma

- Breathing: Mostly quiet but with a few loud sections.
- Panting: Inconsistent, alternating between loud and quiet.
- Injury sounds: Incredibly quiet.
Gabriel has relatively quiet breathing, a few loud giveaways notwithstanding. The loud and soft may cycle for several cycles, which can be hard to track. His interactions are noticeable, yet short; his injuries, on the other hand, are very quiet, making him hard to pinpoint, even for experienced killers such as Spirit. Though those occasional loud breaths hold him back from being higher up the list, Gabriel remains one of the top contenders for stealth.
4. David King

- Breathing: Quiet while idle.
- Panting: Loud and raspy.
- Injury sounds: The quietest in the game.
David has the quietest hurt sounds among other survivors in Dead by Daylight and can immediately set him in S tier. His breathing, when on idle, is pretty quiet, but the panting is very loud and raspy, making it way easier to track when he is under pressure. Despite this, his overall injured sound profile is extremely subtle when compared to most survivors.
3. Saga Anderson

- Breathing: Extremely quiet.
- Panting: Very subtle.
- Injury sounds: Slightly louder but still quiet.
Saga pants very quietly. Her breathing, while active, can easily be controlled during a chase. She has default audio for her footsteps, but this can easily be made much harder to track with perks like Lightfooted. While her injury sounds are a little louder than some of the other survivors in the S tier, she is still way quieter than most of the survivor roster, which makes her hard to target for killers.
2. Renato Lyra

- Breathing: Gentle and quiet.
- Panting: Soft and consistent.
- Injury sounds: Quiet but with occasional high-pitched cries.
- Footsteps: Flip-flop audio, the quietest in the game.
Renato’s breathing is extremely soft and quiet, except for a few sections that could give him away. His flip-flop footsteps audio makes him extremely hard to track on some maps, such as Eyrie of Crows. His panting is very soft, although the injuries have a few higher-pitched cries that could be a giveaway. Overall, Renato’s quiet nature makes him among the best stealth survivors.
1. Ada Wong

- Breathing: Nearly silent, with faint audible sections.
- Panting: Heavy but manageable.
- Injury sounds: Insanely quiet, arguably the quietest in the game.
- Footsteps: Heels, but still quiet on rocks.
Ada is by far the quietest survivor in Dead by Daylight. Her breathing isn’t all that audible; only 2-3 breaths can be heard, and they are extremely soft. Though her panting is pretty heavy and panicked. Ada’s injuries are also some of the quietest in the game. Only two loud grunts of pain can be heard from afar while the killer will have to be right on top of her to pick up the rest of her sounds. Her heel audio is also quieter than most survivors, which presses home the fact that Ada is even harder to detect when walking on certain surfaces.
Conclusion:
These 7 survivors have some of the quietest audio cues in Dead by Daylight, making them harder for killers to track. Whether you’re a stealthy player trying to outmaneuver the killer or someone looking for a competitive advantage, choosing one of these survivors can make a noticeable difference in your gameplay.
