Dead by Daylight is full of tough challenges, but some achievements are downright rare. With 288 achievements currently in the game, only a handful of players have unlocked these accomplishments. In this post, we’re counting down the 10 rarest achievements in Dead by Daylight based on Steam stats — the ones that really separate the dedicated players from the rest.
10. Adept Ghoul — 0.6%

Achieve a merciless victory with The Ghoul using only his 3 unique perks in a public match.
This achievement has been a mix of luck and skill for players. Some managed it on their very first game, pulling off a 3K (or even a 4K) to unlock it, while others needed multiple tries due to fast generators or coordinated Survivors. Many players noted that certain matches feel easier when facing disconnected or inexperienced Survivors.
On consoles, particularly Xbox, the achievement hasn’t always appeared immediately, which has caused some confusion. Despite these quirks, getting Adept Ghoul is widely regarded as a satisfying accomplishment — especially while the killer’s abilities are still strong in the meta.
9. Adept Orela — 0.6%

Escape with Orela Rose using only her 3 unique perks in a public match.
This achievement requires using Do No Harm, Duty of Care, and Rapid Response in a single game. Orela was one of the most played survivors at release, and success here comes from balancing healing, protecting teammates, and timing Exhausted effects carefully.
8. Adept Animatronic — 0.6%

Achieve a merciless victory with The Animatronic using only his 3 unique perks in a public match.
This one can be tricky, especially right after a rank reset when players are extra aggressive. Focus on mastering his teleport and axe hits, use add-ons like Foxy’s Hook or Bonnie’s Guitar Strings for extra information, and don’t stress about tunnelling—playing normally over multiple games often works best. Add-ons and offerings are allowed, but you can only use his 3 unique perks in the match.
7. Adept Houndmaster — 0.5%

Achieve a merciless victory with The Houndmaster using only her 3 unique perks in a public match.
Some players find this one tricky, while others get it quickly. Early on, bugs or platform delays could prevent the achievement from appearing, but most report it unlocks after a few tries. Focus on using only her unique perks, play strategically, and don’t stress—like many Adepts, it often comes after a couple of matches rather than a single perfect game. Add-ons and offerings are allowed.
6. You’ve Got Guts — 0.5%

As The Krasue, use her Intestinal Whip ability to put Survivors in the dying state 20 times in public matches.
This achievement can take some patience. Many players recommend focusing on maps with tight loops and less experienced Survivors to land consistent hits. Add-ons and offerings are allowed, but the only requirement is using her unique perks and abilities. Like other Adept-style challenges, it often takes a few matches before it finally pops.
5. Adept Rick — 0.4%

Escape with Rick Grimes using only his 3 unique perks in a public match. Apocalyptic Ingenuity reveals broken Pallets and lets you rebuild Fragile Pallets. Come and Get Me! and Teamwork: Toughen Up, reduce noise and marks in certain situations. Only these perks count; add-ons and offerings don’t affect it.
4. Adept Michonne — 0.4%

Escape with Michonne?Grimes using only her three unique perks: Conviction, Last Stand, and Teamwork: Throw Down. These perks focus on recovering from the Dying State, stunning the Killer, and giving injured teammates endurance. Prioritize her perks for team support and survival—after a few tries, this one usually unlocks naturally.
3. Adept Vee — 0.4%

Escape with Vee Boonyasak using only her three unique perks: Ghost Notes, One-Two-Three-Four!, and Road Life. These perks focus on faster recovery, empowering nearby Survivors, and boosting healing speed. Stick close to teammates, focus on healing and support, and avoid unnecessary risks. After a few consistent matches, this achievement usually unlocks naturally.
2. Adept Krasue — 0.3%

Achieve a merciless victory with The Krasue using only her 3 unique perks in a public match. Hex: Overture of Doom, Ravenous, and Wandering Eye. These perks focus on cursing generators, applying Exposed to Survivors, and tracking injured Survivors. Play smart and patiently over a few matches, and it will unlock.
1. Jump Scared — 0.2%

Jump Scared is the rarest achievement in Dead by Daylight, requiring you to interrupt a Survivor in the Security Office 15 times. Survivors rarely use Security Doors naturally, and audio bugs or risk-averse behaviour make it even trickier. Some players go dozens of matches without a single grab. Patience and strategy are a must, and many turn to “farming” the achievement by guiding friendly Survivors through doors repeatedly. While less organic, it’s the most practical way to complete all 15 jumpscares.
